History
Hidden away at the foot of the gentle slopes of the Bottelary Mountains, Kuils River is well known as an escape to rural pastures from the confines of the Mother City. Just a 30-minute drive from Cape Town, this tranquil town is also situated close enough to many attractions. Kuils River is often referred to as the 'gateway to the wine routes' with Zevenwacht Wine Estate being located at the edge of the Stellenbosch wine route.

Kuils River has expanded over the years to a well-developed area with easy access via the N1, N2 and R300. The area boasts its own private hospital, Schools, shopping malls and in close proximity to the University of the Western Cape.
